Your passport stays on your device.

STAMPHOP! turns the websites you visit into a collection of entry stamps. It needs domain-level browsing information to make that feature work, but it does not send that information to us.

What STAMPHOP! handles

To create and maintain your internet passport, STAMPHOP! processes and stores:

  • the domain and hostname of websites you visit;
  • the first and most recent visit times, visit counts, and recent visit dates;
  • the generated visual recipe for each stamp; and
  • your language and postcard preferences.

What STAMPHOP! does not handle

STAMPHOP! does not collect full URLs, page paths, search queries, page text, form entries, passwords, authentication data, cookies, personal communications, or payment information.

How the information is used

The information is used only to generate entry stamps, maintain your collection and visit milestones, calculate passport statistics, and create your weekly travel postcard. It is not used for analytics, profiling, advertising, or any unrelated purpose.

Storage, sharing, and retention

Your passport data is stored locally through Chrome's storage system. STAMPHOP! has no developer-operated server and does not transmit your browsing records to us or to third parties.

Domain records remain on your device until you clear the passport inside the extension or uninstall STAMPHOP!. Daily visit summaries are retained for up to 56 days to create weekly postcards.

Permissions

Storage keeps your passport, settings, and milestones on your device. Access to HTTP and HTTPS websites lets STAMPHOP! identify the current hostname and display the entry-stamp animation. This access is not used to read page content.

Your control

You can clear all collected domains, stamps, and visit records at any time from the extension's Bag settings. Uninstalling the extension also removes its locally stored data through Chrome.

Limited Use

STAMPHOP!'s use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the extension's disclosed, user-facing features.
